Dr. Amerian and Dr. Anterasian are proud to announce that we are now offering eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation. The eMatrix device delivers an effective treatment to the deep dermal layer of the skin to rejuvenate the skin without surgery. This is an excellent treatment for skin of any color.
The treatment is ideal for rejuvenation of the face. It will tighten the skin, improve the fine lines and wrinkles that occur with aging, reduce pores, and improve acne scars and other facial scars. Patients can elect to treat their entire face or may choose to have a more limited treatment to a smaller area such as the skin around the eyes. In addition, the neck, chest, and hands can also be treated and this will reduce the skin crepiness in these areas.
Is eMatrix FDA approved?
eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation is FDA approved for the treatment of fine lines and facial wrinkles. It is suitable for nearly all patients and it will improve many different skin conditions.
What results can I expect from eMatrix treatment?
Patients experience significant improvement in the overall quality of their skin. The skin is tightened, wrinkles are reduced, scars are improved, and pores are less noticeable. The overall skin texture is smoother. eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation enhances the skin’s brightness and patients enjoy the resulting increase in the skin’s brilliance and light reflectance. Is there downtime after an eMatrix treatment?
The downtime with eMatrix is usually very short, and depends on the settings used. Most patients return to work either immediately after treatment or the following day. Any redness subsides within 24 hours. There is no bleeding, weeping, or oozing from the skin. Those patients who require a more aggressive treatment may have their treatments done on a Friday and then return to work the following Monday. Patients can participate in decisions on how mild or how aggressive they want their treatments to be.
What will I feel during an eMatrix treatment?
During the treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as the radio frequency energy enters their skin. After treatment, a pink or red “sunburn” appearance is common. Treatment of the entire face typically takes less than thirty minutes. Numbing cream may be applied before the treatment to improve comfort. Most patients will be able to put on make-up and go back to work the day following the treatment.

eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation utilizes radio frequency energy to improve the skin, and it works through a unique mechanism. The system delivers most of its radio frequency energy into the deep dermal layer of the skin while at the same time delivering only minimal energy to the top layer of the skin.
