How should I prepare for the treatment?
Please do not wear any jewelry to your appointment. Keep hydrated a day before by drinking at least 8 cups of water and avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours. Avoid using all exfoliating products such as retinol a week before. Avoid tanning for two weeks prior. Shave any hair in the treatment area. Avoid all blood thinners 10 days before treatment.
Is there any downtime after a Potenza treatment?
There is minimal to no downtime. You may experience some mild redness and swelling temporarily. You may resume regular activities right away. Strenuous exercise should be avoided for a few days. Use only gentle products for the first few days following the treatment.
Is the Potenza safe?
It is a versatile treatment safe for all skin types and tones. There are customizable settings that can be adjusted for different skin types and conditions.
What does the Potenza feel like?
You will be numbed for an hour to minimize discomfort. During the treatment, you may feel a light scratching or tingling sensation. The sensation is mild and short.
How long does a Potenza treatment take?
It depends on how many areas are being treated. Usually the treatment can be completed in under 45 minutes after numbing for approximately an hour
How many Potenza treatments will I need?
It varies and depends on the skin concerns being addressed. Typically, patients notice improvements after 3 sessions spaced a month apart. After 3 sessions, a treatment every 6 months to maintain results is recommended
How long will the Potenza results last?
The results may last for years depending on your lifestyle and daily skin care routine.
What should I expect during the procedure?
The device is moved across the treated skin area and you may feel a mild prickling from the needles and some heat from the radiofrequency energy.
What should I expect after the procedure?
Your skin may feel warm and slightly red, similar to a light sunburn. Collagen and elastin production still continues after the treatment and your results may become more apparent after several weeks.
How often can I do a Potenza treatment?
