By now, most of our patients have become familiar with the CoolSculpting procedure. The CoolSculpting procedure reduces fat by freezing it for one hour. However, many of our patients may not yet be familiar with the new TruSculpting procedure. TruSculpting works by heating the fatty tissues for four minutes to temperatures that are high enough to result in the therapeutic reduction of fat, but not so high as to be uncomfortable or painful. Heating the fat for four minutes induces the body’s natural systems to break down the fat cells in the treated areas. The process of natural fat cell reduction takes about two months to complete.
Ideal candidates for the CoolSculpting and TruSculpting procedures have discrete and localized fat bulges on the abdomen, love handles, inner or outer thighs, and back. Both of these treatments result in noticeable and natural looking fat reduction in the treated areas. This in turn results in an improved and more attractive body contour. There is absolutely no downtime following either a CoolSculpting procedure or a TruSculpting procedure.
It takes two to three months for the final result to become visible after either of these procedures. For this reason, any of our patients who wish to reduce their fat bulges before the summer (without having surgery or liposuction) should have their CoolSculpting or TruSculpting procedures performed soon. That way, the results will be visible by the time we head into the summer months.
We invite any of our patients who may be interested in having a non-surgical fat reducing procedure to call our office at 310-829-9396 and make an appointment for a complementary consultation. At the consultation, we will determine which of the two non-surgical non-invasive fat reducing procedures is most appropriate for a particular patient.
During the months of March and April, we will also give to our CoolSculpting and TruSculpting patients a free treatment with Botox to one area of the face, a $350 value. This special offer will remain in effect until April 30, 2012.
